Comments: Hello again. I wrote in spring 1998 about Charlie, an Art Deco gelding. He's been under saddle 1 year/9 months and we're competing at Training Level. His scores have been ranging from high 60s to mid70s. My only difficulty is refraining from pushing him too hard; he is so willing. He has his sire's head and eye and the fabulous gaits of both his sire and dam. He is cheery and enthusiastic. A real partner.

But I get chances to ride for peaple in my area that have no time to ride their horses. And after riding a trained dressage horse it sparked my interest in the sport. Comments: i am greatly interested in all your stallions...i can't choose!. you have such beautiful stallions, they are the prettiest by far. I own a paint QH mare, with exceptional markings. She is 16.1 and a bit. Is it possible to get a pic of her to you?. I would love to hear what you think of her. I need to get her approved as a sports horse, her cannon bone is well over 8 inches. I have delayed it because when she was a baby, she got cuaght up in a barbed wire fence and cotterized her feet. She is a bit pigeoned toed now because of it. Do you think it would matter?. You are truly a good breeder who enjoys breeding and raising for the right reason which is the love of the horse! I just bought my daughter a 16.1hh Tobiano gelding who has won me over to Pintos in less than a week. I use to show hunters and was a died in the wool solid coloured horsewoman, but not now! Comments: I have a Kaligraphy by Art Deco 4 year old mare. I would love to breed her to Spectrum, but she was very ill at 15 months and now is small, not yet 15 hands. I would like to give her another year of growth before I breed her. Her breeding should put her closer to 16 hands, but there is some thinking that her illness at such a young age may have stunted her growth. She is black, not a spot of color anywhere, but as cute as they come and a personality that can't be beat - a really loveable mare. I wanted to breed her TB dam to State of the Art, but recently found out through a culture that she has a slim chance of carrying a foal to maturity. So I am thinking of breeding our 5 year old maiden appendix mare to State of the Art - a nicely put together chestnut with good breeding. Would she be approved? She is registered as an appendix with the Jockey Club. I bet this is more comment than you ever expected to get! I just found your web site yesterday and was so excited to find Art Deco. I had no idea where he was.

Comments: Just an update on my '94 Art Deco gelding (out of a TB mare). Charlie is competing at First Level, after qualifying at Training for the 2000 California Dressage Society Annual Show. He also qualified for the regional USDF/ABIC Training Level class and for the UDSF Training Level certificate. His scores have been from the mid-60s to the low 70s at both Training and First Level, and he has the most wonderful work ethic to go with his handy athleticism. He's a real dance partner.

Comments: This is a wonderful page! Paints were not always my favorite but you but a change to that. All of your paints are the nicest ones I have ever seen. At my house my mom mainly raises welsh ponies. I have three ponies I can call my own. One named Lisiter Animated Toy(21). Another one named Arcadian Rose Bay (age 34). Also, my newest riding pony, Saltwood Tuscany (age 4). My pony and I ("Tuc") are doing the welsh circuit this year. We are ahead in the medium pony hunter and also the medium welsh pleasure.He is the fancyest pony out of the 3 I call my own. It was known that Toy and Rosie were fancy also in the old days. Also, 2 years ago I have sold a direct son of Samber (full brother to Art Deco) to somebody as a 2y 10months old and I regret it enormously; now he's just 5y(06181995-kwpn) Brings me to this question:what would you do?
