Joining |
There are a few requirements for joining, but it is a free service and it's not too hard to do. The benefits for you and your site will be increased traffic a way to direct potential clients to your site and network with others with similar interests.
Listed below are the requirements:

We're looking for member sites that contain resources and information
about Sporthorses, Shows, Breeding, or Products. This is a serious web ring
for people in the horse industry and those who want to find sites pertaining to
Sporthorses, so please no "SIMMs" sites, no personal home pages that don't
pertain to Sporthorses or horse sites that do not offer Sporthorses or services benefiting
Sporthorses in some aspect. Please no sites were the horse material doesn't meet
"sport horse" qualifications, such as: a rodeo site. or a saddle seat page. This
site is for dressage, hunters, jumpers, combined training, driving, breeding or standing
Sporthorses and Warmbloods. We do reserve the right to list (without them being members)
non profit, registry and helpful resources web pages-they will only be on our listings
page not included on the actual "web ring". |

You must enter the html code and graphic onto your page
within two weeks of applying and being approved.-If this is not done you will get one
e-mail reminding you (If your having problems getting it to work let me know I'll be happy
to help you) and if it still isn't on your page and functioning your listing will be
removed. Personally I hate big ugly web ring boxes-so I will give you several choices
(even some big ugly ones!) on where and how your web ring links be displayed, but do make
sure you follow the instructions and layout on the way you decide to place it on your
page. |

Sites that are eligible, Join The Sporthorse Breeders Web Ring. A Site ID
is assigned at that time. Your information is placed into a queue until the Ring Mistress
can review it. If the Ring Mistress deems your site appropriate, it will be placed into
The Ring. Then, simply place the HTML Code on your site's web pages, and you will
officially be a member of The Ring! The Code provides links to other member's sites within
the ring, as well as some navigational options. There is no cost to join The Sporthorse
Breeders Web Ring. Below are the Web Ring Directories, choose the one that best suits your site. The Directories must be placed on your main page/first page entered in web ring. Since I personally hate big web ring on index/start pages the other option given is that you may put it on your links page or secondary page but you MUST then include one of the small logo's and link it directly to the page and frame of where your Directory has been placed. |
| When you fill out the application for membership please note which directory
you have chosen, by its #. You will be automaticly mailed the default directory, which is #1. If you would like to use another please copy it from this page and place it on your site. #1. Typical table directory |
